What happens when I decline a recognition?

Declining a recognition means it will not be posted to the Roar wall and no points will be awarded.

• The recognition is not posted to the company Roar wall.
• No points are transferred to the recipient.
• The pot balance is not affected.
• The sender is notified that their recognition was declined, along with the reason you provided.

1. In the Approvals tab, tap the red decline button on the recognition card.
2. A screen will appear asking you to provide a reason for declining. This is required before you can submit.
3. Review the recognition details, including the sender, recipient, points, and pot, shown on this screen.
4. Enter your reason and tap Confirm.
5. You will see a confirmation and the recognition will be removed from your list.

A future update will allow pot managers to approve a recognition without points so that it can still be posted to the Roar wall, even if no points are awarded. This article will be updated when this feature is available.
