Why can't I approve a recognition with a lower points amount?

The ability to adjust the points value when approving a recognition is coming soon.

At the moment, a recognition must be approved for the full points amount requested by the sender, or declined. It is not currently possible to approve a recognition with a reduced points value.

The ability to approve a recognition with a lower points amount is being added to the Aslan app. This article will be updated when this feature is available.

In the meantime, if the full amount is not appropriate, you can decline the recognition and ask the user to re-send the recognition with a lowe amount. The sender will be notified with the reason you provide.
