My pot does not have enough points to approve a recognition

If your pot balance is too low, you can request a top-up from your company admin.

When you tap Approve and the pot does not have enough points, a message will appear:

"Sorry, Insufficient funds. The [Pot name] has insufficient funds for this recognition to be approved."

You will be given two options:

  • Request top-up: ask your company admin to add more points to the pot
  • Change funding source: move the recognition to a different pot you manage (if you manage more than one, this option is not available if you only manage one pot)
How to request a top-up
  1. Tap Request top-up.
  2. A form will open. The pot name is already filled in and cannot be changed.
  3. Enter a reason for the request and confirm the points amount needed.
  4. Tap Send request.
  5. You will see a confirmation: "Top-up request sent."

Your company admins will be notified of the request. Once they have topped up the pot, you will be able to return to the approval and complete it.

Note: You can still decline the recognition while you are waiting for the top-up if you need to.
